Arensco | NEBOSH

Arensco is accredited to deliver the Nebosh, International General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health (IGC), which is an internationally recognised health & safety qualification. Our centre number is 723.

The IGC provides a strong basis for evaluating risks and hazards in any country, in any business. The NEBOSH IGC will benefit organisations and multi-national companies working to international standards who are seeking to implement good health and safety management across all areas of their operation.

The IGC ensures that line managers have a sound understanding of the principles that managing risk is a key building block to an effective safety culture. The IGC covers a range from workplace hazards and methods of control. It includes international standards for health & safety management including International Labour Organisation codes of practice. Local laws and cultural factors can be included as part of the study program where appropriate.

Arensco is also accredited to deliver the new NEBOSH Award in Health & Safety at Work. This three day introductory qualification will help improve the safety culture in your organisation, by equipping your workforce to identify and deal with hazards at work helping to reduce accidents and achieving cost savings for the business.

The new qualification will ensure your workforce and in particular supervisory staff can apply the principles of risk assessment and control of common workplace hazards. Improving your workforces’ skills in the risk assessment process can help reduce the number of accidents in the workplace, improving staff morale, and resulting in costs savings for the business. Future courses will include the NEBOSH Technical Certificate in Oil & Gas Process Safety.
